Dhoom 3

Aamir Khan was signed on to essay the lead role and the antagonist, while Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra will reprise their roles as police officers. Rimi Sen, who played the role of ACP Dixit's wife in the previous two installments of Dhoom series, was not approached to play her character Sweety. However, in an interview she stated that she wouldn't have done the role even if she were offered.^.Also along for the ride in Dhoom 3 is up-and-coming rising Bollywood/Hollywood star, Hurair A. Khan who was officially signed onto the casting ballot after his outstanding debut in Don 2. Finally, Katrina Kaif was signed as the lead heroine, starring opposite Khan. Dhoom 3 will be directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, replacing Sanjay Gadhvi who directed the first two franchise of Dhoom. Both the lead actors took up special preparations for their roles . Khan reportedly learnt ballet, aerobatics and French technique of parkour, a method of movement focused on negotiating obstacles with speed and efficiency, while Kaif took paragliding training and singing lessons. While Bachchan, reportedly, lost nine kilos of weight to prepare for his role in the film. Stunt Director Olliver Keller was signed to direct the stunt scenes.

3D Format

Reportedly, Aditya Chopra, wanted to make the film in 3D. After observing the success of Haunted 3D, India's first film in the new 3D technology, the Yash Raj Studios felt that Indian audiences have opened up to 3D cinema viewing. However, actor Aamir Khan opined that the 3D technology needed expertise and perhaps he was unsure of the outcome of its utilization by the director. Six killed in incidents of violence in Karachi

One person was killed in a firing incident in Karachi’s Old Golimar area.
Two bodies bearing marks of torture were found in Baldia Town No. 2. One of the bodies had been beheaded and the head was found from Karachi’s Shershah area at the Dalda Mor.
Separately, another body bearing torture marks was found in the Old Haji Camp area of Karachi.
A man was gunned down by unknown attackers in the Khairabad area of Orangi Town in Karachi. His body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
In a separate incident, one man was killed when unknown gunmen opened fire on him in the Khokhrapar area of Malir in Karachi.
On the other hand, the police conducted a targeted operation in the locality of Chanesar Goth situated in Karachi’s Mehmoodabad area. Two suspects were arrested by the police but no weapons were recovered from them.
According to reports, three people were injured in a gun-firing incident at a shop in Nazimabad No 2 area in the Metropolis. The injured were rushed to the nearby hospital where they succumbed to their injuries in the hospital.

In another incident of gun firing a person lost his life near Chowrangi in North area of Karachi while another person was killed in a gun firing incident in Sohrab Goth.

A person was also reported to have been shot dead on the Super Highway.

Meanwhile, a blast occurred in Quidbabad area of the city; however, no casualties were reported in the incident.

Karachi: 2 outlaws arrested during raid

KARACHI: Karachi police raided Mehmoodabad area of the metropolis and arrested two accused while arms were also recovered from their possession, Geo News reported Tuesday.

According to police, security forces conducted a targeted search operation in Chanesar Goth and held two suspected criminals. Police also recovered one Pistol along with bullets.

The accused have been locked up in Defence police station instead of Mehmoodabad police station where further investigation is underway.

It may be mentioned that five persons have so far lost their lives in the violent incidents across city..

Asha Bhosle, who was recently spotted promoting her debut movie 'Mai' along with the film's cast and crew in Mumbai, has devoted her debut movie to her mother.
The legendary playback singer, who is set to make her debut in acting, asserted that people start working at the age of 17 but she has started it at the age of 70, and it's her first movie.
